We're searching for a Principal Kotlin Developer to join a critical project at a Tier 1 Investment Bank, working on mission-critical systems that power global investment strategies. You'll join at Principal level and lead technically and help shape the technical direction of the project. What you'll do: Develop and maintain highly reliable Back End systems using Kotlin. Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, delivering software that's fast, scalable, and meets the demands of a global investment business. Contribute to the design of robust solutions, integrating with Real Time trading and risk management systems Ensure code quality through best practices, TDD, and strong testing methodologies. What we're looking for: Expertise in Kotlin and experience building high-performance Back End systems. Some prior Scala experience would be great but not essential. A solid background in Multithreading, concurrency, and distributed systems. Experience with cloud technologies Familiarity with microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. A passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, solving complex problems that directly impact the business. Support data platform enhancements, including AI capability integration, AWS cloud account setup, and reliability. Maintain a highly available environment that meets all security and compliance standards. Actively contribute to product operations, including troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization, and team support. Participate in product ceremonies within an Agile work environment. Ensure the successful implementation of the PAM DevOps guidelines.
