Mechanical Engineer (Mechanical Craft Isolations) - Leven - £300-£350 per day - 6 months+ My client, a FTSE 100 company, is on the hunt for a Mechanical Engineer with the ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and P&ID's, as well as able to confirm P&ID accuracy in the field. The aim is to ensure safe isolation of plant, associated schedules are compiled and then physically executed in a timely manner within an operational window, using current legislation and company standards. Key Accountabilities: To provide safe isolation solutions to comply with legislation and ensure that site can demonstrate effective and safe LOTO procedures. Excellent understanding of engineering LOTO strategies for safety system maintenance. Ensure P&ID's are checked against physical routes, updated and red-lined where necessary, and liaise with CAD team to update. Ensure all mechanical site P&ID's and associated documents are up to date and readily accessible/available. Develop isolation schedules and documentation. Support LOTO install during commissioning of I/O testing, coordinating with both electrical, mechanical & C&I teams.
