Key Responsibilities: Identify detailed requirements and pathways for the priority CTO infrastructure sustainability programmes through stakeholder engagement and data analysis Analyse quantitative and qualitative inputs to understand the functions business impact's and prepare recommendations for improvement Develop proposals and get buy-in from Technology SMEs on our net zero goals and approach Work with stakeholders from across the business to help craft robust and innovative solutions to business problems Help conduct sustainability assessments of the technology function's operations and identify opportunities for improvement. Create comprehensive and informative project documentation Develop and maintain sustainability metrics and reporting mechanisms to track progress and communicate results to stakeholders. Establish partnerships with external organizations to leverage expertise and resources in sustainability initiatives. Requirements: Understanding of key sustainability issues and trends and how they link to business value. Experience working on sustainability projects Appreciation of technology sector, better still infrastructure technology Proven experience using GHG accounting and net zero transition principles, including PCF and LCA Understanding of energy modelling and performance analysis Experience of identifying and working through problems, using design thinking principle This requirement requires 3 days per week on site in Birmingham or Sheffield.
