Purpose The postholder will provide a range of professional advisory and technical services related to the electrical installations and maintenance to the organisation's assets, property, and land. Location: Bolton and surrounding areas Duties * Carry out surveys to the housing stock and produce schedules of work and layouts. * Develop and manage electrical programmes and projects in consultation with customers, tenant's associations, and other stakeholders. * Interpret contract procedures, such as Council Standing Orders, JCT forms of contract, Partnering, PPC 2000, building regulations, Health, and Safety at Work (COSHH) CDM. * Provide technical advice and information to customers regarding the project/planned programme of work. * Advise on the condition of electrical systems in properties * Provide information on the physical and financial progress of projects. * Produce statistical information to assist in forward planning and effective performance monitoring. * Undertake building and site surveys. * Produce contract drawings and documentation including schedules of work. * Prepare detailed estimates and cost analysis of tenders. * Determine and issues site instructions and variation orders. * Prepare contact valuations and certification.
