Application Development Manager - Staffordshire/Hybrid - up to £85k plus package I am currently looking for an Application Development Manager to lead and inspire a talented team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions across our entire IT Services landscape. What You'll Do: Recruit, train, and mentor a growing team, providing clear direction and ongoing support. Help define the strategy and vision for key IT applications and tools, aligning them with broader business goals. Plan and manage resources, prioritise work, and maintain quality standards in our development life cycle. Collaborate with key stakeholders to introduce and promote user-friendly self-service capabilities that elevate my clients service offering. Work closely with a variety of tech teams to ensure seamless integration and ongoing improvement. What We're Looking For Around 5 years' experience supporting and developing platforms like BMC Remedy, SharePoint, or ITSM toolsets. Familiarity with SSRS/SQL for reporting and analytics. Understanding of automation tools and best practices. A background in team management-recruiting, coaching, and guiding staff to excel. Strong stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate with different disciplines. Proficiency in planning, monitoring, and controlling projects. Knowledge of quality management principles, with a proactive approach to tackling issues. Self-starter attitude and open-mindedness to feedback and ideas. Nice to Have A degree in a related field. Experience with Ansible, Chef, Vagrant, or other automation/configuration management tools. Familiarity with the ITIL framework.
