Job - Senior Automation Engineer

Client Location - Boston, Massachusetts

Remote work offering - On-Site

Client Industry - BioTechnology

Contract Length - 12 months

Project Focus: Join a dynamic team to provide on-site support and resources, perform setup and troubleshooting activities, manage MES responsibilities including master data setup (BOMs, BOPs, etc.), and administer Syncade settings. You will be testing MES integrations, configuring and testing printers, scales, and barcode scanners, and supporting troubleshooting PCS.

Additionally, you may be involved in supporting project scope, deliverables, schedules, and team management for automation projects, participating in RFP development and bidder analysis, and coordinating with various departments to prepare and update project reports.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience with Syncade and MES, including master data setup, administration, and integrations.
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and provide effective updates and recommendations.
  • Experience communicating with and supporting Executive Management and directing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Internet navigation.
  • Flexibility to work outside core business hours when needed.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple fast-moving priorities and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in solving complex problems with both quantitative and qualitative variables.
  • Ability to lead and influence others to achieve company objectives.
  • Excellent decision-making and cross-functional team-building skills.
  • Solid understanding of GMP, GLP, and non-GMP project requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering plans and specifications.
