AI Solutions Engineer

£70,000 - £90,000 + Equity

An established Generative AI startup is looking for passionate AI Solutions Engineers experienced in building LLM proof of concepts to join the team. You will work in small teams of company and client engineers to design, build, and deploy AI applications, such as agents built around Large Language Models. Additionally, you will assist with AI strategy and implement AI solutions focusing on custom AI agents.

Responsibilities:

AI Solution Development

• Build AI-powered solutions involving large language models with client partners.
• Own the design and build of these solutions.

Client Consultation and Communication

• Interact regularly with clients to understand their business challenges, goals, and requirements.
• Effectively communicate how AI solutions can address their needs.

Technical Problem-Solving

• Solve complex technical problems during AI solution development and implementation.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to solve industry-wide challenges.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical guidance and leadership within the team.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team skill development.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with other teams, including non-technical teams, to ensure an integrated approach to AI solution development and implementation.

Continuous Learning and Adaptation

• Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and related technologies.
• Continuously enhance the quality of solutions offered.

Quality Assurance and Testing

• Ensure the reliability, effectiveness, and safety of AI solutions through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices.

Ethical Consideration and Compliance

• Uphold and actively contribute to ethical standards in AI development, including data privacy, bias minimisation, and regulatory compliance.
• Expand knowledge on ethical AI and drive ethical implementation practices.

Client Training and Support

• Assist clients in understanding and effectively using AI solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance as needed.

Required Experience:

• Python Proficiency: Strong skills in Python, capable of handling tasks independently.

• AI Model Development: Hands-on experience in developing, training, and deploying AI models.

• LLM Experience: Proven track record in building LLM proof of concepts or a strong desire to learn.

• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain problems and solutions.
