This leading naval architecture and marine engineering company offers services for the energy and defence sectors and are looking for a Hull Structure Engineer to join them. They specialize in new vessel design, upgrades, and unique infrastructure. They support investors throughout the project, from concept to completion. Read below to find out more about your potential mission! The mission: Lead the design and calculation of ship hulls according to classification society rules and client specifications. Oversee the work of project designers and draftsmen to ensure high-quality hull construction drawings. Identify and share lessons learned throughout project execution for continuous improvement. Participate in a variety of projects including FPSO hull design, methanol and carbon capture retrofits, and floating wind assets. Your profile: Master's degree in Marine Engineering. 8-15 years of experience in a similar hull structure engineer position. Knowledge of offshore structures and naval architecture. Expertise in structural analysis of global and detailed hull structures using FEMAP software and Class software VeriStar Hull (preferred).
