Leading Financial Services client in London is now seeking an experienced Snowflake DBA on a permanent basis. This role is offering a base of circa £85,000 (flexibility for the right person) + a strong benefits package and flexible working.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience with Snowflake engineering (SQL Scripting DDL & DML, task orchestration and integration management etc)
• A good understanding of Snowflake administration. Configuring and optimising etc
• Comfortable working in a true Agile environment - knowledge of Scrum/Kanban/BDD/TDD etc
• Experience maintaining and providing a best-in-class data platform to the business
• Azure data certifications - beneficial
• Happy with occasional travel within the UK.

The role's remit:

• Managing the architecture, design, and implementation of Snowflake in a fast-paced development environment.
• Nurturing and managing the Snowflake ecosystem which will support streaming and batch workflows, enables end user teams to access data, build reports, and leverage automation tooling.
• Act as the Snowflake evangelist for the business and will champion best practices.
