Position: Quality Conformance Engineer
Pay rate: £29.88 p/h inside IR35.

IO Associates seeks a Quality Conformance Engineer for the Filton site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. Responsibilities
- Conduct tasks using Conformance Engineering principles to reduce Non-Quality Costs by analysing KPIs.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and report on Quality Improvement opportunities.
- Lead Quality Improvement Projects, ensuring resolution of issues.
- Escalate Quality performance issues by analysing trends.
- Implement and coach Quality tools and techniques (eg, APQP, Error Proofing).
- Deploy AOS Quality standards and review Operational Surveillance criteria.
- Lead Quality investigations, ensuring corrective actions.
- Maintain CAIRs and coordinate clearance of Plant QSR, SARI, and Events.
- Develop personal skills for effective Quality Conformance Engineering support.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and airworthiness standards.
Skills
- Demonstrate Airbus behaviors, with strong knowledge of aircraft manufacturing, process improvement, and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and IT skills (including Microsoft Excel, Word, Google; coding/macros experience advantageous).
- Experience leading multi-functional teams and proficient in SAP, including report interrogation and export.
- Advanced skills in English and mathematics.
