For our customer a major Energy Service provider and electricity producer in Europe. we are seeking 2 highly skilled Site Reliability Engineers with Excellent knowledge of AWS Cloud, Gitlab, Terraform and Datadog (or other monitoring tools)
The team is responsible for monitoring, automating, and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of IT systems
In this role you will cooperate with Business IT units supporting the productive systems as well as participating on projects and smooth transfer from build to run. Your responsibility will be the operations and support of the trading, retail and other Business Applications within the IT portfolio, including systems requiring 24x7 support.
Your main responsibilities and objectives will be:
Son-premise (VMware, hybrid) and in the Cloud to provide a stable environment
Implement patching and maintenance
Lead the successful transition of new Business Applications to the SRE Team ensuring they are fully documented.
Gitlab CICD pipelines
Terraform/IaC
Part of the Rota providing On-call Support 24*7 for the critical Business Applications.
Your profile/background:
4+ years of SRE experience + 3 years of experience in other IT technical roles
Hands on experience with 2nd or 3rd level support of Business Critical Applications
Excellent knowledge of AWS Cloud, Gitlab, Terraform and Datadog (or other monitoring tools)
Good SQL knowledge
Experience in Linux, Windows and DB systems is preferred
