We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who required a Software Engineer - Automotive for one of their Clients based in Woking

Job Description:

• Model-based, auto-coded software prototyping and production implementation
• Excellent knowledge in Model-based control software development and verification in MATLAB/Simulink
• Excellent debugging skills for Root cause analysis of software issues (vehicle, labcar, HIL, MIL test environment as required)
• Support vehicle software testing and calibration
• Excellent domain knowledge for body control functions (vehicle access, exterior lights, ergo, adjust, convertible control, etc.) knowledge of suspension control and/or ESP software and calibration
• Excellent control theory background
• Good knowledge of automotive systems at system architecture level
• Software requirements capture and detailed software design into specifications
• AUTOSAR software components generation and integration
• Verification testing in MIL, SIL and HIL environments, and in-vehicle integration
• Compliance to industry standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICE
• Demonstrative experience in the automotive sector
• Degree level education in a relevant Engineering discipline - mechanical, automotive, etc.
