We are recruiting for an Electrical Estimator to join our team.

Hours of work

39 hours per week, worked as 8.5 hours Monday to Thursday and 5 hours Friday.
Additional hours may be required to meet specific customer requirements.

Job purpose

Estimating low voltage switchboards and similar products to customer specifications.

Main Duties

Creating outline switchgear designs and bills of materials to customer specifications
Obtaining and evaluating quotations from key suppliers
Preparing customer quotations using template documentation
Periodic follow-up calls to customers

Skills / attributes

2y+ experience in electrical estimating or engineering
Electrically qualified or qualified by experience
Customer focused (internal and external) & commercially aware
Familiarity with LV electrical systems
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work to deadlines, without compromising quality
