We're currently hiring for a Head of Cloud Architecture to join a well-known brand based out of their Head Office in Nottingham/work from home. The Head of Cloud Architecture will join their expanding team of IT professionals to challenge how the cloud is used and improve the wider business utilize cloud capabilities. The role will be split up of 20% strategic focused, 40% technical and 40% people/stakeholder management. The Head of Cloud Architecture will also have a focus of setting up the cloud centre of excellence and aim to build a team with the focus of working to architect development strategies that will enhance the capabilities of automation, AI and support the overall services that the team will manage. The Head of Cloud Architecture will benefit from hybrid working of 4 days onsite roughly per month and have a car allowance + a strong bonus scheme. Responsibilities of the Head of Cloud Architecture: Aim for continuous improvement with a focus on developing the business's cloud capabilities. Use your leadership experience to manage 3 Senior Cloud Architects Develop well architected cloud solutions and strategy to enhance what is already in play and introduce new technologies, cloud adoption plans, and cloud management and monitoring strategies. Build and drive the success of the cloud centre of excellence team. Design target state Cloud Architecture, partnering with other architects, such as Cloud Network, Cloud Solution, Cloud Security, Cloud Engineering and Development teams.
