Skills:

• Experience: 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP data migration projects, with expertise in various SAP objects.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead data migration teams within SAP implementation projects.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures and ETL tools.
  • Expertise with SAP Data Migration Cockpit.
  • SAP S/4HANA MDM (Master Data Management) expertise is highly advantageous.
  • Functional knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, LE, EWM, and FICO is a significant plus.
• Project Management: Experience in managing and coordinating complex data migration projects.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Data Migration: Experienced in planning and executing end-to-end data migration streams, including mock runs.
• Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to lead and guide teams through data migration processes.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present effectively.
• Software Tools: Proficiency in MS Office, JIRA, SharePoint, and RDM tools.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Define and document the overall data migration strategy, including detailed plans for data mocks, cutover rehearsals, and Go Live cutover.
• Project Leadership: Lead and drive the full data migration stream from Legacy systems to SAP, ensuring successful cutover.
• Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of data migration to ensure they align with overall project objectives and timelines.
• Mock Execution: Define the scope and objectives for each mock run, ensuring successful execution and reporting results.
• Data Management: Ensure comprehensive coverage of all data objects to be migrated, and document all migration processes and deliverables.
• Execution Planning: Organize and oversee data extraction, transformation, migration, and validation processes, both pre- and post-execution.
• Documentation: Ensure all SAP mapping and data load templates are available, properly documented, and understood by data owners and relevant stakeholders.
• Validation: Document, communicate, and ensure successful execution of data validation processes.
• Cutover Strategy: Develop and execute the data migration cutover strategy in alignment with the overall Go Live plan.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the data migration process and proactively implement mitigation measures.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coordinate, and guide the data migration team, including business users and consultants.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track progress, report on milestones, and address any issues or delays, following up on resolutions.
