Virtualisation Engineer - Cisco USC

I am representing a world leading provider of market infrastructure. Their purpose is to provide clients with access to global financial and commodities markets, improving price discovery, liquidity, and distribution of data, through responsible and innovative solutions.

The role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, extensive experience in Scripting and automation, and the ability to lead complex projects in the following areas:

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, Implement, and Manage Cisco UCS Environments, Architect, deploy, and maintain Cisco UCS infrastructure.
• Virtualization Infrastructure Management, Design, deploy, and manage virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, Red Hat Virtualization, and OpenShift.
• System Integration and Automation, Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to UCS, VMware, Red Hat Virtualization, and OpenShift platforms.
• Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting, proactively monitor system performance and address potential issues.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience in managing Cisco UCS and virtualization environments.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex IT infrastructure solutions.
• Strong understanding of network and storage integration with UCS and virtual environments.
• Extensive experience with automation and Scripting tools such as Ansible, Terraform OR PowerShell
• Expert knowledge of Cisco UCS architecture, components, and management tools.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Red Hat Virtualization, and OpenShift.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, including Servers, networking, and storage.
