Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (6-month Contract)

Location: Romania, 1 day per week in Bucharest office (Remote otherwise)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a strong DevOps -oriented background to join our team for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will play a key role in automating the testing process, designing and rolling out solutions for regression testing, and ensuring seamless infrastructure operations. You will be working closely with both infrastructure and network systems, automating tasks, and building reliable pipelines that maintain the stability and performance of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate testing processes by designing and implementing testing frameworks, ensuring smooth rollout of regression testing.
• Build and maintain GitLab Pipelines for continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD).
• Write and optimize scripts using Python to automate tasks and processes.
• Create and manage automation configurations using Ansible .
• Perform QA automation and ensure testing frameworks are correctly set up and maintained.
• Develop and implement test automation frameworks to improve software testing efficiency.
• Collaborate on network automation tasks, ideally with Cisco NSO (optional but preferred).
• Work with AWS for cloud-based infrastructure tasks and manage on-prem infrastructure as needed.
• Utilize REST principles and Swagger (OpenAPI) for integration tasks and API testing.
• Perform manual testing when needed, especially during the UI development phase.

Required Skills & Experience:

• GitLab Pipelines - advanced proficiency
• Python - advanced proficiency
• Ansible - advanced proficiency
• QA Automation experience is mandatory
• Basic understanding of Network Automation
• Experience with AWS (mandatory)
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, JUnit, and Ansible
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and Swagger (OpenAPI)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Cisco NSO for network orchestration
• Experience in working with Vue.js for single-page applications
• Cypress for test framework automation
• Understanding of Spring Boot, Java, or Kotlin for Back End testing

Additional Information:

• Reflex UI: Vue.js single-page app tested with Cypress on GitLab CI.
• Reflex Backend: Spring Boot app with JUnit testing, including mocked integration tests and real BDD integration tests with MIND.
• Expect manual testing during the UI development process.
• Must have a strong infra/network background over software development.
