A specialist automotive technology and research company seek a Solutions Design Engineer/Data Solutions Architect to:

• Design and implement solution architectures that support the value-driven delivery of quality data products.
• This role involves developing solution architectures for various technical capabilities leveraging the Azure platform, including BI, analytics, web applications, and APIs.
• You will work closely with colleagues in the Enterprise Data team to deliver high-quality data products.

As a Solutions Design Engineer/Data Solutions Architect, you will:

• Design and architect scalable Data, Analytics, and AI solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
• Collaborate on projects focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), chatbot integration, and web application development using Python.
• Elicit business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into solution architecture and technical requirements.
• Drive automation and implement DevOps practices for smooth and efficient deployment, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met in all solution designs.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in cloud technology and integrate relevant innovations into the organisation's cloud architecture.

Skills and experience we think you'll need to be successful in the Solutions Design Engineer/Data Solutions Architect position:

• Experience delivering robust and reliable cloud architecture functionality in line with industry standards.
• Experience with relational/non-relational stores (eg, NoSQL databases).
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services (eg, Azure Data Factory, Azure AI, Azure IoT, Synapse Analytics, Web Apps, Azure ML).
• Delivery of solutions within agreed timescales, communicating any delays or impacts on timelines promptly.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and containerization.
• Ability to translate business requirements into solution architecture with clear articulation of technical requirements.
• Experience optimizing data processes with a focus on data quality and accessibility.
