Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Hourly Rate: £12.28 per hour
Contract: 12-month fixed term (potential for extension)
Shift: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative with a focus on inventory management/cycle counting to join our team in Skelmersdale. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
As part of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient inventory management. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with previous warehouse experience, particularly in stock counting, who are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Perform stock counting and reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the warehouse to ensure efficient stock flow.
• Update inventory records in our systems, ensuring data accuracy.
• Support the team in receiving, storing, and dispatching goods as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with the inventory team to streamline processes and improve stock control measures.

• Monday to Thursday: 07:50 to 16:45
• Friday: 07:50 to 12:10

Enjoy a half-day on Fridays and a consistent, structured work schedule!

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in stock counting or inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good numeracy and data entry skills.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
• Willingness to commit to a 12-month contract with the potential for extension.
