Azure DevSecOps Specialist - Jenkins/SonarQube/Git/IBM
Our leading customer in Luxembourg is seeking a skilled and experienced Azure DevSecOps Specialist to advance its enterprise-level cloud initiatives on the Microsoft Azure platform. This crucial role focuses on ensuring that the organisation's cloud infrastructure remains resilient, secure, and efficient by integrating security best practices and automation across the development and deployment life cycle.
As an Azure DevSecOps Specialist, the successful candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of automation for both code and infrastructure as code (IaC), supporting a robust and scalable enterprise environment. They will be responsible for establishing application monitoring and performance instrumentation, ensuring ongoing improvements in the reliability and security of applications. Additionally, they will develop both automated and manual operational playbooks to streamline and standardise issue resolution and incident response.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise with Azure cloud services, with the customer holding a preference for those with Microsoft certifications, such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Security Engineer Associate. A strong foundation in designing, deploying, and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), build and release pipelines, and security controls is required.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of DevSecOps processes, especially in continuous integration and continuous delivery, and be familiar with security technologies such as intrusion detection/prevention, event correlation, Firewalls, antivirus, anti-spam, and secure application development. Proficiency with tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, and advanced Microsoft security solutions is highly desirable, as is experience in cloud migration projects involving platforms such as IBM Filenet and IBM Business Automation Workflows. A strong grasp of security standards relevant to software architecture and development (eg, GDPR, NIST) is expected.
This is a full-time, freelance position offering a long-term initial contract with further long-term prosperity.
Please note you must be an EU Citizen to be considered for this position. The customer also requires 50% onsite time in Luxembourg, however, you can be based from other EU countries and travel onsite.
