Job Title: SAP VIM Consultant - Rollout Projects (Romania) Location: Romania (Hybrid/Remote) Job Type: Contract/Full-Time Duration: 6-12 months (Extendable) Languages Required: Romanian (Fluent), English (Proficient) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) Consultant to support rollout projects in Romania. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP VIM implementations and rollouts , particularly in the Romanian market, ensuring compliance with local regulations and business requirements. This role will be crucial in optimizing invoice processing, automating workflows, and supporting end-users during and after deployment. Key Responsibilities: Lead SAP VIM rollout projects in Romania, ensuring alignment with global templates and local compliance. Collaborate with SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver seamless VIM solutions. Configure and customize OpenText VIM to meet client requirements. Conduct fit-gap analysis and define localized requirements for Romania. Provide expert guidance on invoice processing automation, workflows, and exception handling . Ensure compliance with Romanian tax, accounting, and legal requirements . Assist in data migration, testing, and go-live activities . Deliver end-user training and provide post-go-live support . Work closely with SAP FI/CO, MM, and SD teams to integrate VIM solutions. Required Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of SAP VIM experience , with at least one full life cycle VIM rollout in Romania. Strong expertise in OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) for SAP . Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments. Deep understanding of invoice processing, accounts payable automation, and workflow configurations . Knowledge of Romanian fiscal and tax regulations related to invoice management . Experience integrating VIM with SAP FI, MM, and SD modules . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot VIM-related issues. Fluent in Romanian (Mandatory) and Proficient in English . Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and understanding of new functionalities in SAP VIM. Experience with additional OpenText products related to document management and archiving. Knowledge of BTP (Business Technology Platform) and Fiori-based VIM applications . Oversee project planning, budgeting, and risk management to deliver high-quality results. Mentor and develop a team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Support your team with training and guidance to ensure their success in SAP cloud projects. What you have: 6+ years of experience in SAP implementation, with a strong focus on cloud solutions. Proven track record in managing SAP projects, particularly in cloud environments like SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP BTP. Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Deep knowledge of SAP cloud technologies, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Cloud, and SAC Exceptional project management skills, with expertise in managing scope, timelines, budgets, and risks. Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience managing teams and engaging with senior stakeholders. Fluency in Dutch or French is required.
