Electrical Technician - Data Centre

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to work in the Data Centre Operations team of a Global Big Four client. The role will be working with multiple teams, supporting a large business area focussing on electrical maintenance, onsite in London. You'll be responsible for managing vendors, maintaining infrastructure benchmarks and optimize data center operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
• Troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events
• Maintenance including:
  • Filter changes, HVAC PMs, rack power installs, rack PDU, and rack ATS replacements
• Supporting the Data Centre Operations technicians
• Root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment
• Manage building workflows and spare part inventory
• Respond to off hour emergency calls per on call rotation for any one of the region's sites

The role will be hands on, with additional responsibilities for adhering to, and driving safety/security standards on workstreams for internal teams and external contractors. The role is onsite 5 days per week and will involve some on-call work.
