Lead Software Engineer - SaaS - FinTech - London - Hybrid - up to £120k

Lead Software Engineer now required to join our award-winning FinTech client based in the City of London. This is a unique and exiting opportunity for a Software Engineering Lead to drive industry-leading technology while influencing the company's future direction through developing, enhancing and expanding our clients innovative data driven, SaaS applications.

The Lead Software Engineer will have extensive experience in Python and AWS, with a proven track record of working on SaaS or PaaS applications. A background in financial services as well as proficiency in data science and financial data visualization using typescript is highly desirable.

The SaaS Lead Software Engineer will take charge of application design and development, implementing effective strategies to ensure testability and product quality. This is a hands-on leadership role where the role holder will actively contribute whilst guiding a talented team of engineers.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in SaaS/PaaS application development.
• Proficiency in Python and AWS architecture.
• Experience in financial data visualization tools, with expertise in TypeScript being a plus.
• Familiarity with data science tools such as Spark, pandas, DuckDB, Databricks, or Snowflake is advantageous.
• Proven track record of leading development teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working within FinTech or Financial Services sectors.
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Location: London (hybrid, 3x a week onsite)

Annual Salary: up to £120k + excellent benefits.
