Skillsearch are seeing a Comms Specialist for a 3 month contract for one of our primary Italian Clients.

This contract will be considered as hybrid or onsite in Rome.

For hybrid we will require an onsite rate and an off site rate.

To clarify Hybrid for this role: First week ideally on site in Rome, then occasional visits throughout the contract 1 or 2 times p/m.

Feb 25 start with possible extension.

The Information Technology Division (ICT) of our client is responsible for providing information technology solutions and services to support the business operations and to ensure that fighting rural poverty, Our client makes the most effective use of Information and Communications Technology tools and services. ICT provides corporate solutions and services to the global user base, including enterprise solutions hosted by our client, cloud solutions and collaboration platforms to support remote and hybrid work.

Office is based in, Rome, Italy.

Organizational Context

ICT at our client provides a wide range of service and solutions for their global personnel. Additionally, ICT leads on the mitigation of cyber security risks to information assets and supports users through technology adoption. In the coming year, ICT will deliver several AI-enable products for its workforce.

Duties and responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the ICT Director, the incumbent will provide communication products, including blogs, articles, papers to share the key message of the ICT Director. These communications might include topics on strategic vision on specific technologies or capabilities, outlines of work being done in specific business areas, update or product launches or a call to action to get personnel involved in technology initiatives.

Detailedtasksdescription

Task will include the following:

• Produces written materials for internal and external dissemination, including short form blogs and longer communications focused on the activities of the ICT division - new products, project launches, events, strategies and policies.
• Supports in the proof reading of official responses to internal and external reports pertaining to technology matters.
• Prepares presentation materials (eg, talking points, PowerPoint slides) for meetings and workshops.
• Collects information and data relevant to the work of ICT and the broader tech context as required for specific assignments.
• Develops and produces publicity materials for including in annual reports, exhibit displays, and brochures.
• Attends divisional and one-to-one meetings as required.
• Other work as required

Experience and qualifications:

• Degree in communications, journalism, media studies or related
• Experience of working in a corporate/global organisation in the communications or marketing area (3-5 years)
• Proven experience of developing communications materials
• Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
• Interest or some experience of working with technology would be an advantage
