I have an urgent contract role as a Civil/Structural Mechanical Engineer, with an exciting opportunity to work for an expanding company who are specialists in manufacturing components and complex systems for multiple sectors.

The project will be an opportunity to utilise your civil/structural expertise to work where you'll be working on reinforced concrete design, using Solidworks and FEA.

The role will require to be work on a hybrid basis in Gloucester with the opportunity to work remotely. This is an 8-month initial contract, with a strong likelihood this will be extended due to the company wanting to grow throughout 2025.

Skills:

• Civil/Structural AND Mechanical Engineering background.
• SolidWorks experience is vital.
• FEA experience.
• Reinforced concrete/concrete experience is essential.

You will be required to work through your own limited company or your umbrella company as the role will fall outside IR35 with the rate between £45-£50 per hour.
