SAP FI/CO/PS Consultant - English Speaking - Dublin, Ireland. (50% Remote). Start: 24th February 2025. 9 Month Contract. END-CLIENT!
Our end client in Dublin, Ireland requires an SAP FI/CO/PS Consultant for a 9 month contract with the possibility of further extension.
Assignment:
This role will focus on supporting upcoming rollout projects across geographies (Europe and North America), daily business operations, system upgrades, functional design, and business process enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for mentoring end users while driving business value through SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Rollouts:
- Lead the implementation and rollout of SAP FI, PS, and CO modules across multiple geographies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure smooth go-lives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align SAP functionalities with business needs.
2. Daily Business Operations:
- Provide day-to-day operational support for SAP FI, PS, and CO modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system configuration, data integrity, and user access.
- Ensure compliance with global and local financial regulations through SAP solutions.
3. Upgrade & Maintenance Projects:
- Plan and execute SAP system upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Evaluate new functionalities and their integration with existing systems
- Provide recommendations for system optimization and future scalability.
4. Functional Design & Enhancements:
- Design functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements in SAP FI, PS, and CO.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement and test solutions.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
5. End-User Training & Mentoring:
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to maximize SAP system utilization.
- Function as a mentor and subject matter expert (SME) for less experienced team members.
- Create user manuals, FAQs, and support documentation to foster self-sufficiency among users.
6. Business Process Redesign:
- Analyse existing business processes and identify inefficiencies or gaps.
- Redesign processes to align with industry best practices and SAP capabilities.
- Partner with business units to ensure seamless adoption of redesigned processes.
7. Proactive Pain Area Identification & Solution Building:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify recurring issues and pain points in current SAP processes.
- Develop innovative solutions and present actionable recommendations to resolve issues.
- Monitor SAP system usage and performance to proactively address potential risks.
8. Enhancing Revenue Reporting & Forecasting
- Develop and implement SAP-based solutions to improve the accuracy and timeliness of revenue reporting.
- Design forecasting tools and processes to provide leadership with reliable financial insights.
- Ensure alignment of reporting structures with business objectives and strategic goals.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP FI (Finance), CO (Controlling) and PS (Project System):
- Must have SAP S/4HANA experience
- Proven track record of successful SAP project implementations, rollouts and system enhancements.
- Familiarity with integration points between FI/CO/PS and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and EWM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with stakeholders across different geographies.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
- Ability to mentor and train end-users effectively.
- Experience working in a global, multi-cultural environment.
- Willingness to travel to other locations if necessary.
Nice to have but not mandatory:
- Proficiency in SAP reporting tools (eg, FIORI, SAP BW, or SAC).
Languages:
- Must be fluent in English
Remote Work:
- The client would prefer a consultant to be onsite 2 days every week if possible.
- Alternatively, 1 week onsite/1 week remote is acceptable.
- 100% remote work is NOT possible.
Work permit sponsorship:
- Sponsorship for an Irish work permit is NOT possible.
- All candidates must have either Irish, British or EU Citizenship or already have a valid Irish Stamp 4, 5 or 6 visa.
Rate + Work load:
- Maximum rate on offer: €550/day (all inclusive). You must cover all travel expenses yourself.
- Full-time 5 days per week
- 8 hours per day
