About the Role

The position covers all engineering activities across construction sites in Ireland and the production facility. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance to the Design team, ensuring compliance with local and national building regulations and structural requirements. They will also oversee design operations to guarantee that modular units produced in the factory and installed on-site meet all necessary standards.

A key focus of this role is driving innovation and continuous improvement within the company's engineering and design processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience as a structural or civil engineer.
• Experience in modular construction is highly advantageous.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Full, valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design assessments, preparing detailed design reports, calculations, sketches, and drawings.
• Coordinate with BIM modelers and technicians to develop BIM models and drawings that align with client requirements and design intent.
• Prepare project deliverables and submissions to relevant authorities.
• Review drawings, calculations, reports, and other project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage design processes and coordinate with other design disciplines.
• Collaborate with project managers and various departments to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
• Liaise directly with clients, architects, and other design team members to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Monitor the planning and execution phases of projects and provide necessary support.
