We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Java Software Engineer (German Speaking). The role is a permanent position based in Bern Canton with good home office allowance.

Your Role:

• Implement new requirements in the Front & Backend.
• Implement the digitization strategy, API endpoints (OCI, REST) & customer systems.
• Implement EDI-based connections to an ERP system.
• Work in batch processing with Spring Batch & integration Servers (Apache Camel).
• Support specialist departments in creating requirements concepts & provide third-level support (including analysis & rectification of faults).

Your Skills:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Java Software Engineering.
• Skilled & experienced in JavaEE, Spring & Software Development Process according to Scrum.
• Experienced in Developing Containers (Docker) & Kubernetes (OpenShift).
• Accustomed to SQL & ideally experienced also in Oracle Database & PL/SQL.

Your Profile:

• Completed Higher Education/University Degree in Computer Science (or similar).
• Self-motivated, analytical, conceptual, communicative & solution-oriented.
• Fluent English & very good German (to at least B2 level) language skills are mandatory requirements.
