Principal Data Architect

Our client is seeking a Data Architect to deliver innovative cloud solutions that meet the highest standards of data security and privacy. Join us to help our clients operate securely and efficiently in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

As a Principal Data Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience, you will shape data strategy and ensure the success of complex, high-profile projects. You will design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient data architectures on AWS and other cloud platforms, while mentoring a team of skilled data professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide strategic guidance.
• Design, develop, and implement data architectures aligned with security, performance, and scalability needs.
• Utilise AWS and other cloud providers to deploy secure, cloud-native solutions for batch and Real Time data processing.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations.
• Support sales and pre-sales teams with expert advice on proposals.

Essential Experience and Skills:

• 5+ years in data architecture, focusing on secure, large-scale projects.
• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Redshift) and other cloud providers (Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Flink for Real Time data processing.
• Proven mentoring and team management skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influence abilities.
• Desirable skills in Scala and Spark.
• SC SECURITY CLEARANCE IS ESSENTIAL GIVEN THE SECURE ENVIRONMENT THE WORK WILL BE DELIVERED WITHIN
