SFS CAD Technician (Tekla) - Permanent

TEKsystems is currently supporting our market-leading client in the Engineering sector in bringing in a CAD Technician with extensive experience in Tekla within SFS projects. Our client is a global, award-winning engineering and construction modelling consultancy, providing design-led and data-driven solutions for their international clients across a multitude of sectors and projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Producing accurately detailed 3D models in Tekla
• Producing all material call-offs, GA & fabrication drawings, CAM data, etc., from the Tekla 3D model
• Ability to understand architects', MEP, and structural drawings
• Ability to work with a concept and draw it into a working detail while giving the architect what they require and at the same time providing a buildable system that is also within budget
• Being able to work on multiple projects at once and keeping all clients informed of progress

Qualifications

• Experience in Tekla software for detailing SFS/LGSF structures
• Knowledge of structural and construction engineering principles
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a design team
