Business Intelligence Specialist - Power BI/D365/Functional - Long Term

We have been retained by a leading aviation customer as they seek a Functional Expert to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.

The Functional Expert will be expected to collaborate closely with stakeholders and key users to analyse and document business requirements for reporting and data visualisation. They will configure and deploy Microsoft Power BI to create dashboards, reports, and analytics tailored to business needs. This includes ensuring that data is properly cleansed, converted, and uploaded from Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other systems into Power BI, with a focus on accuracy and completeness. The role requires a strong focus on creating reports and dashboards that support operational decision-making. Additionally, the Functional Expert will be involved in training users, providing ongoing support for system updates, and troubleshooting functional and technical issues.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a proven track record in delivering multiple Power BI implementation projects. They should hold recognised training certificates that confirm their competencies in Microsoft Power BI. A strong ability to manage advanced system settings and customisations, as well as experience in business process modelling using standard methodologies (eg, BPMN or UML), is essential.
