The Desktop Support Engineer shall be responsible for the following:

  • Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for laptop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Desktop Support Engineer to work on Installation, Configuration, and maintaining desktop operating systems and software applications.
  • Desktop Support Engineer shall be performing routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patches, and antivirus scans.
  • Desktop Support Engineer shall Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues encountered by end-users in a timely manner at Premise.
  • Desktop Support Engineer shall assist with the setup and configuration of new laptop computers, new hires and refresh programs, printers, and other peripheral devices from time to time.
  • Desktop Support Engineer will address help desk tickets and service requests within agreed-upon response times.
  • Desktop Support Engineer shall Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Desktop Support Engineer will be Providing end-user training and documentation as needed.
  • Desktop Support Engineer will Maintain accurate records through the ITSM tool for support activities and asset inventory through regular audits

Skills

  • At least 2 years' experience in the IT industry and Customer Service Role.
  • At least 2+ years' related experience with increasing responsibility in a Service and Support technical role for a midsize or larger organization (700+ user environment).
  • Experience supporting Board level Executives directly.
  • Audio Visual event support experience.
  • Event support (Internal All Staff's, offsite meetings)
  • Creation of support documentation, Guides and manuals.
  • ServiceNow
  • JamF
  • Microsoft Autopilot
  • AWS
  • MDM (Intune, Cloud hosted or SaaS)
  • On Prem Active Directory/Azure Active Directory
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Understanding of ITIL principles

Work Product/Deliverable(s)

The Desktop Support Engineer shall deliver the following:

  • Timely resolution of technical issues reported by end-users.
  • Documentation of troubleshooting steps and solutions provided.
  • Regular status reports on support activities and ticket resolutions.
