ServiceNow Lead Developer
Our client, a leading global IT services provider, is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Lead Developer to join their team at their client's office in Warwick, UK. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, serve as a technical expert, and guide organizations through their ServiceNow transformation while ensuring adherence to best practices.
This is an office-based position that requires the individual to work fully onsite.
This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements, including custom features and integrations
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance and support to other developers and stakeholders
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the smooth operation of ServiceNow systems
- Best Practices: Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and implementation standard
- Collaboration: Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and technologies
- Team Leadership: May lead a team of developers or consultants
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the ServiceNow platform
- Reporting and Analytics: Experience in reporting and performance analytics
- Agile Methodologies: Collaborate closely with agile teams, contributing to sprint planning and delivering solution features
- Testing and Deployment: Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy solutions on the platform
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
- Consulting: Provide advanced technical consulting and support quality assurance activities
- System Configuration: Implement complex ServiceNow solutions, including system configuration and development of custom features
Key Requirements
- Experience as a senior ServiceNow developer in multiple implementation projects in a customer-centric support role, preferably in the environment providing IT services
- A detailed understanding of the user/business function, work process and key business outputs
- Detailed understanding of ITIL processes and application
- Experienced in ITIL Process Definition, Integration Solutions, Architecture level configurations, Javascript, Web development, APIs
- Expertise ServiceNow deployments, integration with other third party tools, Orchestration, operational activities, Project Management expertise and merging multiple instances
- Strong work experience and associated for projects like Support, Maintenance, Migration, Upgrades, Integrations and Implementation
- Experience in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM and integration
- Certified in CSA, CAD, CIS ITSM, CIS Discovery, ATF and other relevant certifications
